My Vision

th (1)

It is my vision to inspire all users to be lifelong learners, support the learning process in all its forms and foster Inquiry and a love of learning. In order to realize this vision, I will always make the library a fun-filled, friendly and inviting place to be in. This will not only encourage people to come to the library to seek information, but also compel them to keep coming back as attaining knowledge is a life-long process and a library must prove to be a right type of agency for this purpose.
Personally, I seek to promote and incorporate the above into my responsibility as a teacher librarian or an information specialist. I had decided to become a teacher librarian as I would be able to influence the students from a very young age and inspire them to read and learn about different cultures, perspectives, events, stories etc.  The most important which would in turn broaden their young minds and enable them to become lifelong learners. Through innovative programs and engaging activities, I will empower young minds to navigate the complexities of the digital space with confidence and skill I therefore look forward enthusiastically to embrace the challenge of not only becoming a good teacher librarian but also a good information counsellor to the 21st century learner.
